Procurex Wales returns to Cardiff this April to bring together key decision makers and market-leading suppliers who contribute to the ongoing delivery and strategic development of public sector procurement across Wales.

Officially supported by Welsh Government, Procurex Wales provides both buyers and suppliers with the opportunity to enhance their knowledge and skills, in addition to sharing best practice through extensive networking and collaboration opportunities.

This single day is the highlight of the public procurement calendar in Wales, providing participants with a unique opportunity to engage, connect and collaborate with a vast array of key buyers, planners, decision makers and influencers representing Wales’ £6bn+ public sector marketplace, with the sole purpose of creating a better Wales for the future.

The hybrid Procurex Wales 2022 event provides a unique and unrivalled interactive opportunity for both buyers and suppliers within the public procurement community to engage across a range of innovative event features designed to enable all participants to explore the initiatives and objectives shaping today’s marketplace.

Why Attend

Public Sector

In March 2021, Welsh Government published their Procurement Policy outlining their vision for procurement across Wales – that it should achieve positive social, economic, environmental and cultural outcomes for the well-being of Wales.

Engagement and collaboration between peers and industry play a vital role in fulfilling this strategic vision.

The Procurex Wales 2022 hybrid event provides buyers engaged across Wales’ procurement community with an invaluable opportunity to meet with leading suppliers, who are actively delivering a diverse range of innovative Tickets and services that can support both current and future procurement requirements.

Officially supported by the Procurement Advice and Support Service (PASS), Procurex Wales also provides a unique platform for buyers to enhance their commercial skills through a range of CPD Certified training sessions, all of which are designed to support the development of procurement skills and capabilities.

Free to attend for the public sector, Procurex Wales will bring together over 1000 key decision makers and will provide a unique platform for networking, collaboration, education and innovation

Private Sector

Welsh Government 2021 Budget is designed to ‘Protect, Build and Change’ Wales’ future, with £682m pledged to support COVID recovery, and overall objectives to protect public health and jobs, build a greener future and a fairer, more equal Wales.

Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are the backbone of the UK economy, fuelling economic growth and providing more than 15 million jobs. For Wales’ public sector, SMEs play a vital role in helping to deliver efficient, effective and affordable public services.

Becoming a government supplier is a great way to make a positive difference to your business. Such companies report an increase in their turnover, higher profits and an expansion of their workforce.

Procurex Wales offers a unique opportunity for suppliers to engage with Wales’ buying community as the country looks to rebuild after COVID-19.

With over 1000 attendees on the day, including representatives from all major buying organisations across Wales, this is the one public sector event you cannot afford to miss.

In addition to delegate access, ensure that your organisation takes full advantage of the event sponsorship and exhibition opportunities available, designed specifically to showcase your Tickets and services directly to this high-value and diverse marketplace.
