Procurex Wales Engage will connect the procurement and supply chain community through an innovative, intuitive, and interactive virtual experience.

For many of you, this may be a new experience so the key to Procurex Wales Engage is ensuring this is accessible and easy to navigate. Participants can easily browse valuable content, use chat tools to network with exhibitors and also choose and attend your preferred presentations and training sessions.

Procurex Wales Engage 2020 also allows you to join our event from any location via your desktop, mobile or other device, ensuring you can engage with us whilst on the move. And, on top of this, if you miss anything, you can catch up later via our on-demand option.

The Virtual Lobby



Once participants log in to the event they are taken to an interactive 3D lobby that functions as a launchpad guiding them to various sections of the event providing easy access to areas such as the Exhibition Hall, Keynote Arena, Training and Networking Zones.

Exhibition Hall


With exhibitors located across the virtual exhibition landscape, delegates can easily navigate through the space just like a physical event. The Procurex Wales virtual exhibition stands work just like a regular event – staff can meet delegates, schedule meetings, chat through text, audio and live video calls, engage through social media and even, ‘take away’ literature from each stand.

Keynote Arena & Training Zones


Take your seat ready to watch and participate within the Procurex Wales Engage Keynote sessions, which as always, will feature a host of leading speakers from across the Wales’ procurement and supply chain community.

Ask questions of the presenters. Take part in any polls. Watch sessions at a later stage if you missed them using the on-demand facility.

Connect with attendees through rich interactive tools such as audio/video/text chat, polls, webinars, and videos in an immersive environment to get the conversation going.

Networking & Collaboration


Dedicated areas at Procurex Wales Engage will ensure you can communicate with key partners, sponsors, delegates and exhibitors via text, audio and video, ensuring you can maximise your event experience and directly engage with very people shaping the future defence procurement landscape.

FAQ

Yes you will need to register to attend the event. You can register to attend by clicking the ‘Book Now’ button on this page. Please complete all the relevant details. This event is open to public, third sector and private sector organisations.
You only need to have access to the Internet. If you wish to have 121 video calls with any participant during the day you will need to have access to a camera on your laptop.
Once you register you will receive an email confirming your participation. On 19 October the event will go live at 0830. Visit this page https://procurexwales.online-event.co and log in by entering your email and password.
Don’t worry you can reset your password – click the ‘login’ link above and follow the instructions for forgotten password. Please check you junk folder for password reset email.

The event will be open from 0830 and closes at 1600 on 19 October.
The event will have as many features as a live event. You can access the speaker presentations in the auditorium, visit the partners, sponsors and exhibitors in the exhibition halls and network with other delegates in the networking lounge. You will also be able to take part in Q&A during/after speaker sessions, arrange 121 meetings with partners, sponsors and exhibitors, visit exhibition booths and take content home in your delegate bag. All done from the comfort and safety of your home or office environment.
We will be shortly adding this to our website allowing you to plan your day in advance.
All content will remain on the site for 30 days, allowing registered delegates the opportunity to revisit on a different day and still be able to access all the presentations and exhibition stands. Please note that none of the networking facilities are available after 19 October so if you do want to contact any of the exhibitors or partners please see contact information on their individual booths.
We ask that any discussions – whether via IM or video calls – are kept strictly professional. Please use appropriate language. Best practise is to send a text IM in the chat room to ask if someone is available for a video call. Please do not ‘spam’ any participant with unsolicited calls.
